This is a fun, structured class, using music and themes, teaching the fundamental, basic gymnastics skills.

Their focus is the Fundamental Awards and the British Gymnastics Proficiency Awards.

Apparatus and equipment include:

Junior bars, beams, vault, trampette, Air Track, Soft Play & Floor, Hand Apparatus (balls, hoops, ribbons, ropes, poms, feathers, quoits, bean bags, scarves)

Tots and Transition Group

Monday, Thursday or Friday 4.15pm – 5.00pm (45 mins)

Transition Group

from 5yrs – 6yrs

This class runs at the same time as the Tots class, but it’s a “Transition Group” therefore preparing the children to move from a fun structured themed class into a more challenging environment.

Children in this class must have attended a minimum of 1 full term in the Pre-School class prior to joining the

Transition Group in order to gain the fundamentals of gymnastics.

The children work towards the Proficiency badges 1st, 2nd & 3rd

Junior bars, beams, vault, trampette, Air Track, Soft Play & Floor, Hand Apparatus (balls, hoops, ribbons, ropes, poms, feathers, quoits, bean bags, scarves)

Rec Class 1

from 6 yrs – 8 yrs

This class is for children working towards the BG Proficiency Badges starting at Badge 8.

Apparatus and equipment include:

Junior Asymmetric Bars, Beams, Vault, Air Track and Floor and some hand apparatus

Rec Class 1

Monday, Thursday or Friday 5.00pm – 6.00pm (1hr)

This class is for children working towards the higher level BG Proficiency Awards starting at Badge 5.

This class is where gymnasts work in pairs or trios,

using complex acrobatic, balancing and tempo skills,

demonstrating strength and flexibility.

Their focus is competitions and display work

Please note – All classes can cater for children with little or no experience in gymnastics as well as those children who are more experienced either through school or another club.The above ages are a guide only to which class your child will attend. When you join the club we will advise you on which is the best class for your child according to their age and ability.

Course fees are paid a minimum of half a term in advance.The above course fees are based on a 7 week course for a half term and 14 weeks for the full term.Prices will vary if courses are longer or shorter than 7 weeks.
